Job change notifications: overview

When a contact changes jobs, it's one of the highest-signal moments for outreach. CTD tracks job changes across your network and alerts you when the timing is right.

Why job changes matter

People who just changed roles are:

• More open to new conversations — they're actively building their new stack and team
• Likely evaluating vendors and tools their predecessor didn't use
• Motivated to make an impact quickly — they have budget to spend and problems to solve
• Still reachable at their old email while their new contact info is fresh

Where to see job changes

Job changes for your direct connections are visible at My Updates → Job Updates. Each notification shows the contact's name, their previous role, their new company and title, your relationship strength with them, and a direct link to see warm paths at their new company.

CTD also sends a weekly email digest summarizing recent job changes across your network. If you're not receiving it, reach out to support@ctd.ai.
