CTD lists skill

The CTD lists skill is a slash command for Claude that turns any list of companies or people into a tracked list in CTD - and manages it afterwards. Paste a spreadsheet, a table, or plain text into Claude; the skill validates the input, creates the list in one call, optionally shares it with your team, and hands back the link.

Requires: the CTD MCP connected to Claude. See Setting up the CTD MCP server if you haven't done this yet. Sharing lists with your team requires a Business plan.

How to run it

In any Claude chat window (Desktop or Cowork), attach or paste your list and type:

/ctd-lists

Plain language works just as well: "add these target companies to CTD" or "make a CTD list of these people and share it with my team". The skill asks at most two things - the list name and whether to share it - and skips whatever you've already said.

What to send it

• Companies - websites or domains, in any format. Full URLs are fine (https://www.stripe.com/pricing becomes stripe.com), and company names without domains get resolved and confirmed with you first.
• People - LinkedIn profile URLs. That's the identifier CTD uses; if you only have names, the skill offers to find the right profiles and confirms each match before adding anyone.

What the skill does

1. Cleans and validates the input - normalizes URLs, deduplicates, and flags anything that looks like a typo before it lands on your list.
2. Creates the list in one call - and returns the link immediately.
3. Shares it, if you want - with your whole team, view-only or editable.
4. Reports honestly - anything that couldn't be added is listed plainly, never papered over.

Three views on every list

At the top-middle of any list page you can switch between List, Board (kanban), and Paths views.

The Board view deserves a special mention for events: if you're organizing a dinner, a conference meetup, or any invite list, define your own statuses - Invited, Coming, Needs a nudge, Declined - and drag people between them. Share the list and the whole team sees where every guest stands, plus every warm path to each person.

Use the list as a filter across CTD

• app.ctd.ai/paths/companies - switch "All companies" at the top to your list, and you see warm paths scoped to just those companies.
• app.ctd.ai/paths/targets - switch "All people" to your list: a people list shows just those people; a company list shows just the people who work there.

Managing lists from chat

The same skill handles everything after creation - just say it in plain language:

• "Add these five domains to my Target Accounts list"
• "Remove stripe.com from the list"
• "Share my dinner list with the team" / "make it private again"
• "Delete the test list" - with a confirmation first; deleting can't be undone.

And any list can be exported from the app - the download option is in the upper-right corner of the list page.

How to install the skill

The skill is a zip file you install into Claude Desktop or Cowork. Once installed, the /ctd-lists command becomes available in any Claude session where your CTD MCP is also connected.

1. Download the skill file: ctd-lists-skill.zip
2. Open Claude Desktop or Cowork
3. Go to Settings → Customize → Skills
4. Click Add → Upload a skill and select the downloaded zip file
5. The /ctd-lists command will appear in your slash command list immediately
